20x30ft Capri Marquee hire West Midlands

Welcome to Jump’in Jacks Marquee hire service.

Our marquees are suitable for small weddings, birthday parties, family celebrations, or just to provide some shelter or shade at other gatherings.

Our 20x30ft Capri Marquees can be used with enclosed walls to provide protection from the elements or with open sides in hot weather..

The 20x30ft marquee can accommodate up to 75 guests standing or around 42 seated at 4ft diameter tables however, this would leave limited space for people to move around.

If you require something a little bigger we also have a 28x38ft marquee available.

When choosing which size marquee to go for you need to consider how many people you want to accommodate, will they be standing, sitting or a mixture of both?

Will you require space for things like a DJ and dance floors?

All of these things will alter the floor space needed. The standard 20x30ft marquee hire package includes 4x5ft diameter tables and 24 chairs without covers and basic floor covering to the majority of the usable floor area. Additional tables and chairs are available at extra cost. Additional items such as uplighters and dance floors are also available.

Site requirements for and restrictions for the 20x30ft Marquee

To set up the 20x30ft Capri marquee we will require a flat grassed area at least 30x40ft.The site should be free from underground services such as gas or water pipes or electrical cables to avoid damage when anchoring. The area must also be free from overhanging trees, overhead power lines or other obstructions.

The Capri marquee must be set up on grass, it cannot be set up on hardstanding of any type due to its design and anchorage requirements. The marquee relies on 2ft long anchors driven into the ground at 6 points around its perimeter, this is a must and not negotiable.

Like any temporary structure there is a maximum wind speed the marquee can be set up in, the Capri marquee’s maximum limit is 40 mph including gusts.

Marquee hire times

Due to the type of event and the probable need for other services to complete the overall hire we have to take a pragmatic approach towards delivery and collections. Venues will often only be available at certain times for us to set up and dismantle the marquee due to other events they may have booked in. In this case we would do our best to work with the customer and venue.

For events held on private property at the weekend we would generally set up the Thursday or Friday and dismantle and remove the marquee the Sunday or Monday. This gives the customer time to arrange decor and power before their event and gives them time to clean up and remove any items not supplied by us before we dismantle and remove the marquee.

Areas covered

We provide marquee hire throughout the West Midlands but mainly supply Birmingham, Solihull, Bromsgrove, Sutton Coldfield, Wolverhampton, Bridgnorth, Kidderminster and Bewdley. We can supply other areas if required.

Frequently asked questions

What's the process to book?

We suggest the customer checks the area to ensure it's suitable for the marquee before they book.

Once the customer is happy the site is suitable they should contact us to make the booking. At this point a 20% deposit will be payable. The balance is then payable 7 days before the event. There will also be a £100.00 clear site deposit payable. This deposit is refunded as long as when we collect the marquee it is clear of rubbish and decor that we have not provided. If when we arrive to collect we find the marquee has not been cleared of rubbish and other items which are not ours we will just move the items to one side so we can dismantle and the deposit will be lost.

What's the space needed for the marquee?

For the 20x30ft marquee you will need a flat grassed area of 30x40ft with no overhanging trees or other obstacles. The customer must ensure the area is free from underground services such as electric, gas, water and sewage pipes, this is especially important in built up areas. If in doubt there are web based companies that should be able to provide information about underground services running through the property.

What happens if the weather forecast is for winds in excess of the 40mph limit?

Obviously neither the customer or ourselves can control the weather however, if the wind is going to be that bad it will generally be forecast a few days before the event. If we cannot erect the marquee due to high winds a full refund for our services would be provided. We would not be responsible for any monies lost against other services we have not provided in connection to the event. Or any fees for an alternative venue or loss of earnings from the event.

The venue want proof of insurance

We have £5million public liability insurance, proof of which can be provided once a booking is made. The insurance covers us for our liabilities in connection with the hire of our equipment, it does not cover any additions supplied by anyone else.
