Bouncy castle bed restitch

Bouncy castle bed re-stitch is one of the most common types of inflatables repairs we carry out at Jump' in Jacks. There are a number of reasons why a bed restitch my be needed, it could be to repair broken stitching, to tidy up a delaminated seem, or it may be needed as the inflatable is warn and loosing excessive air pressure which would result in an inflatables test failure.

Not all bouncy castles, slides and other inflatables can be restitched, its generally only a feasible repair on standard butt stitched seems and not webbed beds. A standard butt seem is when two pieces of material are stitched directly together, a webbed seem is when two pieces of material are stitched directly together then a piece of seat belt type material is stitched down the full length bridging the seem between the two pieces of material.

Generally speaking a bouncy castle bed restitch done properly will result in an invisible repair when inflated, the only evidence of a repair taking place would be on the underside where the bed had been cut open for access and stitched closed.
