Safe use of inflatable assault courses

This page gives the customer some guidance as to how inflatable assault courses and obstacle courses  should be supervised.

It is important that the customer understands what is expected of them when supervising the inflatable they hire. 

Adults are not allowed on the inflatable assault course or inflatable obstacle course. The max user age for these inflatables is 14yrs of age.

Children using the equipment must be supervised by an adult aged 18yrs or over at all times, if a supervisor is not availible, the equipment should not be used.

Shoes, glasses and sharp jewelry must not be worn on the inflatable.

The users should be of similar size and age.

Max user capacities displayed on the inflatables must not be exeeded.

Rough play must not be permitted on the inflatable and should be stopped if it arrises.

The users must not be allowed to perform acrobatics on the inflatable, and must not be allowed to jump off the top of the slide. (allowing this to happen could result in injury or damage to the inflatable, for which the customer will be charged for)

The users must not be allowed to climb the walls of the inflatable. 

The entrance and exit points must be kept clear of obstruction at all times.

The users must travel through the inflatable in one direction only and must not be allowed to climb the wrong way up the slide.

The inflatable should not be used in strong winds or wet conditions, under no circumstances should water or any other fluid be put on the inflatable by the users or supervisors.

Food, drink, silly string  party poppers, or pens of any kind are not allowed on the inflatable. Failure to comply with this rule will result in the customer being charged for cleaning the inflatable.

The users must not be allowed to dismantle any part of the equipment (e.g. removing the slide sheet from the slide) If this occures, the customer will be liable for the cost of repair, replacement, or time it takes to re assemble the equipment.
